My name is Zoe Head-Thomas. I am radio reporter for Bauer Media Group, at Greatest Hits Radio, for which I report on news stories from politics, crime, or the economy to sports across Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire, occasionally reporting for national brands.

Before entering the industry as a professional broadcaster, I studied a Masters in Broadcast Journalism at the University of Sheffield, where I graduated with a distinction, obtaining both the NCTJ and BJTC qualifications.

Only 18 months into my role, I was promoted to Senior Reporter. Simultaneously, I was recognised by The Radio Academy as a 30 under 30 for my valuable contributions to the radio landscape. More recently, I was nominated, alongside colleagues in my regional team, for Best Regional News Team by the Commercial Radio News Awards.

Growing up in Brussels from French and British parents, I have always had an interest in news, current affairs and politics across Europe and beyond. Since my early teenage years, I have been passionate about journalism. This platform is a space for all the work I have done so far, both in broadcast and print, at a trainee and professional level.

My core values are trust and honesty, which I apply to my work through accuracy and the building of professional relationships with any person I interview and/or work with to report news.
